I know that it is not WW2 but just received my Vietnam War US rig from WW2Mike, cheers mate, I got some funny looks and some questions from the people in the admin office when I went to collect it :giggle: .

"Will you stop talking about the war!!"
"What, you started it!"
"We did NOT start it!"
"Yes you did, you invaded Poland..."

A nicely broken in pair of size ten DMS boots for a tenner, plenty good enough for my Brit loadout, a pair of leather laces and they look the part. Note for anyone finding it hard to get hold of DMS boots, have a word with your local sea cadet units, they may have a few in stores. The navy used to issue them, so there were plenty but modern H&S , and child protection B/S means they can't use them anymore. A £10 contribution to their funds was gratefully recieved by our local unit this evening, and Im happy with my new boots.

Swedish Mauser leather bandoleer, perfect for that ruffian/resistance look :happydance:

To the tune of "Mademoiselle from Armentières"

Napoleons army ran away, As you do
The guard stood firm for Frances Pride, As you do
They said the guard will stand and die
But we heard what their Colonel cried
It wasn't pretty I tell you.

From Hong Kong, a replica Japanese South-Seas Islands/Tropical uniform + puttees. I'm very impressed with the quality. Also, the "Wolfenstein" game. Both are quite interesting, but for different reasons!
